The 32nd Annual Groundhog Day Pancake Breakfast was held Saturday Feb 8th, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church 420 S. Heartz Rd in Coppell.
The Club served over 400 people “all you can eat” Pancakes, Sausage, Biscuits and Gravy plus Coffee or Orange drink (or milk for the children) between 7am and 11am. In addition, the Carter Blood Mobile took blood donations, free eye exams were given and free Diabetic Screening was available. Thirty-Seven Placemat Ad Sponsors enabled the club to raise money for CHS graduating Senior Scholarships, Eyeglasses for underserved Coppell Students, Christmas Food Baskets for needy Coppell families, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and the Texas Lions Camp for special needs children.
Tickets were only $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.
Next year, Saturday February 13th, 2021, join your friends and neighbors at this fun event and help provide needed assistance to families in Coppell, all of Texas and around the world.
