Coppell Lions Club

Club Service Projects

The Coppell Lions are always helping our community. We like to say “Where there’s a need, there’s Lion”. Here are a few of our community services we provide.  If you have a need or just want information, contact us!

Diabetes Screening – Held Oct 21st at St. Luke Catholic Church in Irving.

Coppell Senior Scholarship Program – Each year Coppell graduating seniors from Coppell High School and New Tech High School can apply for a 4 year, $4000 scholarship. The program is for Coppell residents only.

Sight Programs – The Lions were charged by Helen Keller in 1925 to be “Knights of the Blind”. Since that time Lions have supported vision screening, vision protection, collecting used eyeglasses and other world wide sight programs.

Youth Programs – Lions Clubs all over the world sponsor several youth programs that build character and and academics in young people. In Texas we sponsor both speech and essay contests where students can enter and win college scholarship.

Services for Children – From screening for diseases, to providing wheelchairs and hearing assistance, the Lions are in the center of your community providing assistance to children.
